How Long Does Breast Lift Surgery Take?

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes an average of 2.5 hours. After the operation, a drain is placed to prevent blood accumulation in the breasts, which acts as a fuse. A special bra that shapes the breasts is put on when leaving the surgery. You can be discharged from the hospital on the same day or you will be hosted for one day. You can take a bath on the 3rd day after the operation and your dressing will be renewed on the same day. The stitches do not need to be removed as they dissolve on their own and are hidden. You should use the bra for 3-6 weeks. After a week, you can easily return to your daily life and to your work if you have a job that is not heavy. You can do light sports after the second week and heavy sports after the sixth week.
